Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services in the course of an engagement using the company's senior administrators in a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% from the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.

Reflecting on the latest achievements, the Minister highlighted key milestones and ongoing priorities. She committed to urgently addressing The problem of long-lasting leadership appointments along with the lack of personnel at most community places of work.
